Following an unexpected loss to Empoli, Simone Inzaghi’s team picked up a win last weekend, defeating Cremonese by a score of 2-1 courtesy to a brace from Lautaro Martinez.
The victory moved Inter into second place, but with 13 points separating them from Napoli, Serie A top team, they will realise that the Coppa Italia and the Champions League represent their best chances of bringing home more hardware this season.
