Andrea Pirlo has not had the best start in charge of Juventus since taking over the club he became a legend for during his playing days.

Indeed, I Bianconeri have found it incredibly difficult to get things going under their former midfield maestro and performances in Serie A have already proven to be anything but solid.

The manager has continued to chop and change his starting XI, thus not allowing for any real momentum to be created nor allow for some of his tactics to perhaps take effect as soon as he desired. Creating momentum is a crucial element of achieving a winning formula and this something that bettors know all too well when using online casinos as they know continually changing them will not always work in their favour.

It must be said, Juventus do not appear to have an issue when in UEFA Champions League competition, although a group that contains Ferencvarosi and Dynamo Kyiv (as well as FC Barcelona) was unlikely ever going to trouble the Old Lady.

With January fast approach, attention will start to turn to the transfer window and it appears the Turin outfit are already planning to make the additions they feel Pirlo needs – although one target of theirs will not be able to make the move until next summer.

According to Calciomercato, AC Milan’s Hakan Calhanoglu continues to remain a target for Juventus.

The Turkish playmaker had been spotted with Merih Demiral in recent weeks and the rumours have since grown to a rate that suggests the compatriots could join together at the Allianz Arena.

The I Rossoneri attacker has been in good form for AC Milan this season, having bagged four goals and four assists in his 14 appearances so far. However, his contract is running down and there appears to be a standoff that does not look easy to overcome.

Indeed, if no deal is agreed in the next month, then Calhanoglu will be able to talk to other teams and Juventus are hoping they can agree to a deal with him.

They are said to have already contacted him about the possibility of him joining them, however clubs such as Manchester United are also thought to be interested in the 26-year-old.

And, it has also been claimed that Juventus could have a problem in landing the Turkey international as finances are thought to be a sticking point as he is believed to want €7 million a year.

It could be an interesting few months for Juventus, AC Milan and Hakan Calhanoglu and certainly a couple of months that should be closely followed.
