Denmark won 4-1 (1-0) against Russia in the Euro 2021 group B.

The match was even in terms of goals until Denmark took the lead in the 38th minute through Mikkel Damsgaard, who scored a goal, with an assist by Pierre Höjbjerg.

With more than 30 minutes on the clock, Denmark’s Yussuf Poulsen scored a goal and increased their lead.

In the 70th minute, Artem Dzyuba scored a goal, to reduce the score for Russia. However, Russia were unable to make more of an impression.

Andreas Christensen increased Denmark’s lead, in the 79th minute.

With eight minutes left to play, Denmark’s Joakim Mähle increased the lead as he scored a goal, with an assist by Pierre Höjbjerg. The 4-1 goal was the last one of the game.

The qualifiers are over and Russia finished in fourth place and Denmark in second. Denmark has secured its spot in the playoffs.
