The match was goalless until Brazil took the lead in the 37th minute through Eder Militao, who scored a goal, with an assist by Everton.
Straight after the break, Angel Mena scored and equalised for Ecuador. The 1-1 goal was the last goal of the game.
The qualifiers are over and Brazil finished in first place and Ecuador in fourth.
