Denmark almost lasted the distance away to England in the EM 2021 Semifinal. Denmark managed to take the game into extra time but were in the end beaten 2-1 (1-1).
It was 0-0 until Denmark took the lead just on the half-hour mark through Mikkel Damsgaard, who scored, making it 0-1.
1-1 came through an own-goal in the 39th minute.
The deciding goal came, when Harry Kane scored a 2-1 for England. Kane then completed the team’s come back.
